To all, 

   I have just spent three GREAT days at a retreat for Candidates and Incumbents in Orlando conducted by the Florida Democratic Party, House Victory. Several items came out of this which will be very helpful in the upcoming weeks as the November 4 election date approaches, some of which; 

• The House race in District 28 is one of 8 targeted races by the Florida Democratic Party House Victory in the State.

• The Congressional race in District 24 is one of 6 Targeted races by the DCCC from the National level in the State.

• Congressional District 24 and House District 28 are 1 of 2 of the overlaying coordinated races by both the DCCC and FDP/House Victory in the State

• The Coordinated Campaigns from both the Federal and State levels began July 18, 2008

• The Party is expecting that 50% of the Registered Voters will Vote in Early Voting.

• In each of these races the and FDP/House Victory will be looking the Candidates ability to build local support as well as ground support which they view as contributions.

    These two races will have heavy emphasis from both the National and State levels, we need to show them we are players and can get the ground game together as well as the local support, to that end I am asking each of you for your commitment, to reach out to those you know and are associated with for financial support, endorsements and I am and will be committed to meeting with as many of the constituents as possible.
